FRIENDSHIPS TD1 Litter has arrived - Born March 15th, 2016

Note before the litter was born:  WE HAVE AN UPCOMING MINIATURE LITTER - OUR FIRST BLACK, APRICOT AND POSSIBLE CREAM LITTER OUT OF OUR "TRUDY"  AND MISHELLE'S "CODY"  (SEE THEIR WEBPAGES).  WE ARE VERY EXCITED ABOUT THIS LITTER AS "CODY" PRODUCED A BEAUTIFUL LITTER WITH "TRUDY'S" DAM "GABRIELLA" (SEE HER WEBPAGE).  WE ARE CURRENTLY TAKING DEPOSITS ON THIS LITTER.  PET MALES WILL START AT $1000.00, PET FEMALES AT $1100.00.  ALL OF OUR MINIATURES ARE FULLY TESTED.  THE LITTER IS DUE THE 2ND WEEK OF MARCH 2016 AND WILL BE READY TO GO TO NEW HOMES APPROXIMATELY JUNE 1ST, 2016 - JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER.

Trudy's ultrasound at 32 days into her pregnancy showed a number of puppies.

Trudy had the largest miniature litter we have had - a litter of seven beautiful black and blue puppies.  Remember blue & silver puppies are all born black.  In blues we look for certain things at birth:  primarily pink pads, white hair between the pads, white toenails.  Good solid blacks usually have gray pads at birth that turn black within 24 hours, as do their noses as well.  Blues can also have pads that turn black as well as their noses, so we make note of the differences right at birth.  Every puppy is immediately weighed and has a soft collar put on with it's ID# - the ID number identifies the dam, the number of litter this is for her, and then the puppy number within the litter.  For example TD1-1 is for Trudy, her 1st litter, and the 1st puppy born in that litter.

This is a beautiful litter, all growing well and being supplemented by bottle with goats milk.  We will be doing temperament testing around the 10th of May, with the hopes that local puppies will be ready to go to new homes between the 14th - 21st of May.  Those shipping will be shipped at 10 weeks, so will be ready to ship to new homes May 24th-31st.  We will try to add new pictures every week.

There are already two deposits on this litter, and we may be retaining one female (probably #4 or #6, but won't know until we complete testing.

Pet males will start at $1000.00, pet females will start at $1100.00  

Pick of the litter puppies for breeding will be $1500.00 and on a conditional contract.

PLEASE CHECK BACK OCCASIONALLY IN CASE OUR PLANS CHANGE, OR THE POODS CHANGE THEM FOR US.  WE'VE ONLY HAD ONE ACCIDENTAL BREEDING IN 20 YEARS WITH STANDARDS, AND NEVER YET IN OUR MINIATURES, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A FIRST TIME.  WHERE THERE IS PERSISTANCE THERE IS A WAY - DIGGING, CLIMBING, CHEWING, ESCAPING CRATES, TEARING OFF PANTIES, ETC.

 ***Important notice:  Due to economic changes instead of having our litters on a regular basis, for the next year or so unless economy takes an upswing, we will only be producing litters with at least four deposits on a standard litter, and at least two deposits on a miniature litter.  Many, many breeders are having the same difficulties marketing puppies at this time with gas prices taking more and more of a families budget, and the current competition from all the "doodle" breeders. Pets are a luxury item for many.  At this time we do not take charge cards as we feel this contributes to families over extending themselves financially.  We brought ourselves through a period of this, and have counselled our grown children through the same.  We have several families who have sent payments on a regular basis prior to getting their puppies, so that the pup was entirely paid for before pickup or shipping.  That way when they received their puppy they also had the funds for its basic care and veterinary checkups, vaccines, spaying, neutering - as it spread the cost over several months.  As deposits come in we will list how many deposits on each litter.  Our standard litters are usually 8 or more puppies, except for Mandy - if we have three deposits on her litters we will do the breeding.  Our miniature litters are usually four or more.

If you reserve a puppy by deposit ($250.00) and at the last minute cannot take your puppy we only refund $100.00, as $150.00 is retained for re-advertising, or you can move your deposit to a later litter.  Please beware, as we have been informed by several families that many breeders keep the entire deposit, some have lost as much as $500.00.  We know that circumstances can change due to job lay-off, medical emergencies, loss of a loved one - many, many reasons, and we try to work with you.  All deposits go into a special savings account, and the money doesn't get touched until you get your puppy and it passes it's "well puppy check" with your own personal veterinarian within 10 days of receiving your puppy.  At that time, when we receive the vet report (not the vet bill), also acknowledging the puppy's ID tattooed into it's left ear, and know that you and your vet are happy with the puppy, then we feel free to use the $'s to meet our expenses, and that also puts the puppies two year (from date of birth) guarantee into effect.

  ***ALL OF OUR PUPPIES START AT THE FOLLOWING PRICES:  BASE PRICE FOR MINIATURE PET MALES START AT $850.00, MINIATURE PET FEMALES START AT $950.00.  PICK OF THE LITTER PUPPIES ARE BASED ON TEMPERAMENT TESTING, CONFORMATION EVALUATIONS AND PERSONALITIES.  ONLY PICK OF THE LITTER PUPPIES ARE SOLD WITH BREEDING/SHOW PRIVILEGES (ALSO ON CONDITIONAL CONTRACT) - THESE PRIVILEGES INCREASE THE PRICE BY $100.00.  1ST PICK OF THE LITTER PUPPIES ARE $200.00 ABOVE BASE PRICE - AND ARE SUGGESTED FOR ENDURANCE EVENTS SUCH AS AGILITY, 2ND PICK OF THE LITTER PUPPIES ARE $100.00 ABOVE BASE PRICE.  ALSO FOR PUPPIES WHO HAVE NOT GONE TO THEIR NEW HOMES BY 10 WEEKS OF AGE WE ADD $30.00 PER WEEK FOR FOOD, TREATS, TRAINING, VACCINATIONS, AND GROOMING.   WE HAVE TRIED TO KEEP TO THE SAME PRICE STRUCTURE FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS.  WE ARE BY FAR NOT THE LOWEST OR THE HIGHEST PRICED - BUT WE STRIVE TO GIVE YOU QUALITY FOR YOUR $'S, AND WE FOLLOW UP WITH OUR PUPPY FAMILIES FOR YEARS TO COME.
